About the Founder

Founder of Master Rider LLP
Seasoned fund manager with 10 years experience investing in Asian public and private equity.
Before his investment experience, Mr. Teong has about 10 years of operations and senior management experience throughout Asia including 3 years in China.
Outstanding track record managing public equity portfolios for Japan's largest life insurer and a local bank which has a total fund size of more than S$1b
Outperformed relevant benchmarks (such as MSCI, STI, SIBOR etc) for all the funds that he has managed on a year-to-date basis ever since he started his fund management career in the mid 90s
Created his personal proprietary valuation model and a highly automated investment evaluation process for stock investment.
Private equity investments with a leading Japanese/Asian private equity investment group
In-depth knowledge of China's food industry, business customs, and culture.
Deep operations experience as the general manager of a mid-size vegetable oil refinery in China, in charged of about 600 employees with overall P&L responsibility
Active investment seminar trainer who has trained thousands of people in the last few years. Due to popular request, Mr. Teong is now sharing his valuable professional investment experience via his e-seminars and e-books with the public!
Author of the popular investment book, The Essence of Stock Investment.
Received B. Eng (Hons) and MBA degrees from National University of Singapore.
